How can I help a homeboy get over his ex?

My homeboi iz still in love with his ex even though she's over him for the most part,she's all he thinks about and after a year of them being broken up, he still wont let it go, i hear about it every day...and i try to send lil hints that it's just not there....its startin to bug ppl,how can i let him know he has no chance without being harsh and cold hearted?How can I help a homeboy get over his ex?

u should tell him that he should let no person hurt him like that cuz its not worth it cuz soon he will grow up, get a job, move out of his moms house and stuff, and he will forget about high skewl or whatever.
Slap him and tell to get the fcuk over it. It's been a year, stop being a puzzy. Go to the strip club or something. Hit the club and hit on as many woman as possible. It will only take one woman responding to him to make him forget about the previous skank. If he continues, tell his azz to stay home, he's ruining the party.
maybe u should let him find out by himself he will eventually learn, ppl sometimes have to learn things the hard way.

Tell him gently that he's being pathetic, and that God obviously didn't want him to be with that girll or they'd still be together. Take him to a place where hot girls are known to flock and go girl spotting. That should definently cheer him up.
You could help him by getting him interested in things that he can be passionate about and buy listening to him best healing comes after talking about the pain so many times it becames just like a movie and feelings are numb.
Give him a good slap in the face, and get him laid. Take him to the strip club. If he is still being a puss over her, then start telling him to just keep waiting, I'm sure she'll change her mind eventually. Ask him how long he is going to wait, 1 more year, 5 years, 10 years, how long? If all that fails, set him up with an appointment at a doctor, cause he was born with no balls.





Oh yeah, sometimes guys need to told straight out harsh and cold hearted. He needs a wake up call, not a coddling friend.

You need to say that his obsession with his ex is annoying people and interfering with his progress and development as a person. As a result of his obsessing, he is keeping himself from finding someone who cares about him romantically and in more ways than his ex does.





You need to make him aware that he is continually making a choice to value his ex over other women. By such a choice, he is annoying people and interfering with his growth. He is welcome to do that, but he must realize there is fallout from making this kind of choice--the annoyance of friends, and potentially the loss of friends, plus the loss of other women who may be much better suited for him. If he does not want to bring about such realities, he needs to make a different choice: One that places more value on other potential women than on his ex.
sit him down n have a long talk. possibly he needs time out the usual environment. places might keep reminding him of d reationship....
try to find something out about her that would totally make him get over her ya knnow something that would gross him out or even make him mad that she did or is doing it that might work unless he just thinks she is perfect and want believe you

look don麓t be hard on ur friend. just trying talking to him about something else or invite him somewhere that is fun so he can refresh off datz female.
Just give him some time. Take him out somewhere and see if he can forget about his ex.
